Bugatti launches in 2008, the successor of EB 16.4. The new version is called Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport. First versions of the car was photo in the Germany, before the car was launch. These spy pictures with this supercar was available online for Bugatti fans and some car reviews. Anyway, the car was officially launched to replace the old version of this supercar with a targa top variation of the EB 16.4.
The result is another jewelry in Bugatti records. The Grand Sport suffer few changes comparing with previous version, two removable well designed tops and a removable top. The rest of specifications remain approximately the same but it’s good to know that Grand Sport replace totally the old EB 16.4
The differences between these models are not very big but this new version of Veyron it has some improvements at the cockpit level and other specs. The grade of protection at collision was changed in better, with a reprojected reinforcement structure. In the doors was introduced elements of protection like reinforced carbon fibers, for example.
The top speed of Veyron Grand Sport remain the same it the roof is it’s place but the changed in performance can be viewed if the car are running without the top. The aerodynamics of the car is changes and the speed decrease to a maximum of 370 km per hour, limited electronically for the safety protection of the driver.
The W12 engine consumption is very high with about 40.0 liters / 100 kilometers in usual city traffic and about 25 liters per 100 kilometers on the auto road.
Other versions of Bugatti Veyron are launched from 2008 to 2009 and we expect to see a new Veyron in 2010. The limited versions of this supercar are: PureSang, Sang Noire and Bleu Centenaire.
The latest from the list was launched to celebrate centenary of Bugatti company, in 2009. This luxury brand is one of the most desired exotic cars of the moment. We hope in the near future Veyron will make us another surprises.
